Calvados Boulard EXTRA won the GOLD medal at the “Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2015”, the most prestigious competition in France for wine and spirits. It took seven years of hard work and patience for the Cellar Master to craft the Boulard EXTRA, with painstaking selection and blending of the oldest and most elegant vintages found in our special Calvados reserve. A delicate nose, light and impeccably refined, rich aromas, with a genereous bouquet of ripe fruit and sweet apple and a long, elegant flavour with prominant floral notes.

Established in 1870, the “Concours Général Agricole” aims to select and reward the best French products and the best breeding animals.

The competition was held, like every year, at the “Salon International de l’Agriculture”, from 21 February to 1 March 2015.
