Spirit France was present at “Tales of the Cocktail” in New Orleans, the american annual event which gathers cocktail professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world. 170 people attended the Calvados-dedicated seminar held by Jacob Briars and Colin Field, the head Barman of the Ritz in Paris. The seminar was a great success with wine and spirit magazines journalists from Shankten Report, Shakestir, Mixology. Attendees also had the privilege to taste coktails made by Colin Field, one of the best barmen in the world using Calvados Boulard VSOP, Lecompte 5 years old and Père Magloire VSOP. The “Serendipity” cocktail made with Calvados Lecompte won particular approval from the audience.
Spirit France, which is the only Calvados company to have its own event, keeps up with the trends in the United States!
Recipe for the “Serendipity” cocktail:
-1 mint sprig
-1 teaspoon sugar
-2/3 ounce Lecompte Calvados
-1,75 ounces apple juice
-champagne (to top)
