“After 25 years of maturing,  I have produced 1988 carafes of this very special cuvee, which has now reached its aromatic apogee.” The 1988 vintage is one that is close to our cellar master’s heart, representing his prestigious record and giving us a Calvados Pays d’Auge which perfectly embodies the prestige and history of Maison Lecompte.

Alc. 40%

Tasting notes

Colour: Deep amber.

Nose: The first impression drives us straight towards baked apples to then reveal aromas of toasted almonds and vanilla taken from the oak of the barrels.

Palate: Taste of cooked and caramelized apple, followed by flavours of spice bread, toasted bread with sensations of coffee, chocolate and caramel.
