It blends eaux-de-vie from Bas-Armagnac and Armagnac-Ténarèze, made with the Baco and Ugni Blanc varieties. While the youngest eaux-de-vie composing XO may have been in barrels for 10 years, the oldest have been resting in oak barrels for more than 30 years.

Tasting notes
Colour : Coppery amber with hints of burnished copper.
Nose : Candied plum, reine-claude plum, oak and red fruits.
Palate : Very intense and well-balanced. Hints of oak, quince and sour cherries followed by almonds and finishing on spicy notes.
