1925 Père Magloire
became one of the first
registered brands at the INPI
(French National Institution
for the Intellectual Property).

1930 Development of sales for Boulard
in Europe and Africa

1937 Creation of the AOC Armagnac

1942 Creation of the AOC Calvados
and AOC Calvados Pays d’Auge

1947 First crates of Boulard Calvados
sent to the USA,
Canada and Scandinavia.
Japan came soon after.

1968 1968 Yves Pellerin acquired
Maison Lecompte.
1986 Martell bought out Janneau. 1987 Martini & Rossi group became the exclusive distributor of Boulard. 1987 Seagram bought out Janneau. 1995 The Pellerin and Boulard families merged the Lecompte and Boulard Calvados into a single entity. Acquisition of the
Père Magloire brand by the
Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin group.
Development in Belgium
and Germany.

1998 They followed-up by acquiring Père Magloire from LVMH (owner of Ponsardin Veuve Clicquot).

2007 Spirit Capital acquired Père Magloire, Boulard and Lecompte Calvados from the Pellerin and Boulard families. The three Maisons were united inside Spirit France.

2012 Launch of Le Marque Armagnac

2014 Grand Armagnac Janneau
joined the Spirit France group.
