The competition ran from September 28 to October 1 in Treviso, Italy. Three types of medals were awarded: Grand Gold Medal, Gold Medal and Silver Medal. Once again, the competition proved to be a barometer of the latest trends in the world of spirits.

We obtained the highest distinction for 3 of our products : 2 Calvados Pays d’Auge and 1 Armagnac.

2023 in a few figures

France (including its overseas territories), China, Brazil, Italy and Mexico share the top 5 nations with the highest number of medals. As a percentage of the number of samples entered, Brazil leads the way, followed by Italy.

At the end of the competition, the major gold medals are tasted a second time by all the jury presidents who deliberate to award « Revelation » trophies to innovative products that meet the expectations of today’s consumers. This year, eighteen products were selected for their unequivocal quality, of which our Armagnac janneau Blend XO !

The Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is an international travelling competition in which spirits are presented by producers to be tasted and evaluated by a panel of experts. All spirits were blind tasted This year, just over 30% of the samples were distinguished. The overall quality of the spirits submitted to the competition was particularly remarkable.
