The competition ran from September 28 to October 1 in Treviso, Italy. Three types of medals were awarded: Grand Gold Medal, Gold Medal and Silver Medal. Once again, the competition proved to be a barometer of the latest trends in the world of spirits.

We obtained the highest distinction for 3 of our products : 2 Calvados Pays d’Auge and 1 Armagnac.

2023 in a few figures

France (including its overseas territories), China, Brazil, Italy and Mexico share the top 5 nations with the highest number of medals. As a percentage of the number of samples entered, Brazil leads the way, followed by Italy.

At the end of the competition, the major gold medals are tasted a second time by all the jury presidents who deliberate to award “Revelation” trophies to innovative products that meet the expectations of today’s consumers. This year, eighteen products were selected for their unequivocal quality, of which our Armagnac janneau Blend XO !

The Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is an international travelling competition in which spirits are presented by producers to be tasted and evaluated by a panel of experts. All spirits were blind tasted This year, just over 30% of the samples were distinguished. The overall quality of the spirits submitted to the competition was particularly remarkable.
